Problem Statement tracks for Hackathon

Hackathon Themes
Each theme is designed to spark innovation, challenge assumptions, and build solutions that create real impact in menstrual health and hygiene. Applicants must apply for one of them
Menstrual Health as a Livelihood
Theme/Problem: Periods & Professions

Menstrual Health and Faith
Theme/Problem: Faith, Culture & Periods
Challenge: Design communication materials, dialogue models, or digital storytelling tools that address menstrual health in culturally sensitive ways.
Reusable Menstrual Products
Theme/Problem Statement:
Reusable menstrual products like cups, pads, and period panties reduce waste and cut costs, but they are mostly sold online. This limits access for rural users and those without digital literacy.
Challenge:
Design a mobile app that allows pharmacies, medical distributors and SHGs to place bulk orders for reusable menstrual products and track inventory.
Online Awareness Campaigns for Sustainable Period Products
Problem Statement: Young people spend a lot of time on Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp—but few know the facts about the health and environmental impact of disposables.
Challenge:
Design a creative online campaign that:
Educates and engages young people (15–25 yrs)
Uses reels, vox pop, memes, or storytelling
Is easy to replicate by school clubs or youth volunteers
